Here's a 1-minute clip demonstrating a little color correction.

In the first clip, general adjustments are complemented by mood CC, to create the impression of the scene taking place closer to sunset. A shot of the setting sun begins the continuous, following scene.

In the second clip, a shot actually taken at 'magic hour' is meant to be continuous with a scene shot in very blue daylight tones, so matching CC is applied to preserve continuity and make the cut less jarring.

The third clip is a different scene taking place elsewhere in the film and on a different day in the story, but shot under the same conditions as the second clip. Here the CC pass helps to differentiate the two scenes without making either seem unrealistic.

This clip is presented in almost 6MB of QuickTime video, at an unusually high bitrate to preserve more color information.
