Sony and the NAB

Click here to see the grid as used in my contest entry . It's less interesting AND somewhat uglier!

If you've been wondering what I've been up to in the past few years of my life, here's a brief summary.

I put this together as part of a little contest entry for an event run by my school.

Evidently, since they purchased so much Sony HD equipment for their crazy new studio, Sony does us the favor of allowing 8 students to work for them for free for a week during the NAB. Originally, the system for picking these lucky students was rigged and fixed and based on perceived merit, but the dean said otherwise, so we make videos suggesting why we're worthy.

I'm not going to post my video entry, because it's not especially good, but here's a still that shows how the video to the left was used. And here's a still that comes up a bit later, wherein I address the allure of heart disease.
(All this rap music makes the kids think it's so darn cool to have strokes and weak aortas, well let me tell you a thing or two about a thing or two, bah!)

If I get sent to Vegas where the NAB is, then I'll get to see Blue Man Group: Live at Luxor before it closes, I hope.
